Here are some of my favorite links to things I find interesting, inspiring, or just plain fun. I'll be updating this page regularly, so check back often to see what's new!
The Odd and Unusual
Cemetary Pulp - A Las Vegas shop the specializes in comics, taxedermy, oddities, and dark decor.
Scream Into The Void - Scream into the void. Trust me, you'll feel better afterwards.
Zoom Quilt - It just keeps going, and going, and going...
Interesting Projects
Slew - A science-fantasy role-playing game based on the Bastl Softpop semi-modular synthesizer? Sure, why not?
Sites doing the good work
Owls in Towels - Cute owl photos from an organization focusing on saving and reintroducing owls to the wild.
Neocities - Are you old enough to remember a webhost from the 90's called Geocities? You could say Neocities is sort of an homage to Geocities. It's a collection of websites primarily crated using older techniques and styling.
Bands Worth Promoting
The Darts - All-female garage rock punk band with a little rockabilly.
The Epoxies - I just don't want to let go of this new wave punk band from Portland. Alas, they broke up some time ago, but they are too damn good to not make my list.
Sanguinaria Canadensis - A delightfully dark website of goth culture and artistic creations.
Pulp Magazines - An incredible collection of vintage pulp magazine covers and articles. There are some true gems within this catalog of old magazines, like original stories from authors like Ray Bradbury and H.G. Wells.
Artists That Inspire
Tara McPherson - Check out the surreal work of Tara McPherson. Her work is amazing!
My introduction to the Joshua Tree area art scene.
